Peter Stonier

Peter Stonier is Director of Specialty Training at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. He is a distinguished pharmaceutical physician who, in addition to having an illustrious track record as medical director and board member in both large pharma and the broader life sciences sector, has tirelessly driven medical education and standard setting in the field of medicines’ development. His persistence has meant Pharmaceutical Medicine was granted medical specialty status in 2002 and subsequently recognition of its training programmes and revalidation by the GMC. His contributions to medicines development globally have been, and continue to be, the underpinning of training of people who bring new medicines and medical devices.
