BIO

Tim Illidge, Professor of Targeted Therapy and Oncology at the University of Manchester, is at the forefront of his speciality and a world leader. He is in the vanguard of antibody development for cancer treatment and his work has revolutionised lymphoma management and improved mortality at various stages in the disease both for Non-Hodgkin’s as well as Hodgkin’s Disease. He was recruited to Manchester to lead the Cancer Therapeutics Group and it has proved an outstanding success. He is internationally respected for his work and this has extended not only into lung cancer with improved outcomes but also chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and follicular lymphoma.
